Trying to Write New Episodes

Antonio has been busy lately, as have I, so production of InSpace has been slowed. A lot. Recently, the idea of InSpace and how great it could be has kept me up at night. This story is my favorite, and I would hate to see it wasted.

I think the problem before was that I was focusing on the story too much when I was writing it with myself. Now that I brought Antonio on board, he's helped me with putting the humor back in. So now, I feel I'm confident to go ahead and try rewriting some episodes by myself to see how they come out.

On top of that, I guess I'm going to have to take my laptop everywhere so I can work on it with Antonio as much as we possibly can.

So far it's really funny, and as I sit here awake at 5 in the morning, I blame InSpace...

The Adventure Begins

InSpace started out as a small web comic I began one day. I always had intentions of turning it into an animation series and about a year ago I wrote up 12 episodes to be animated.

Due to snags of me being lazy and the first episode didn't feel like a first episode... And I didn't have a theme song.

Then my brother's band formed together (Kidnap The Sun.) Antonio Alvarez plays synth, and he's good at making the sound I craved for the theme song, so I asked him to make me a quick "15 second space sounding song for a theme song."

Eventually we got talking and he came on board as a second writer. Hopefully he'll write on here about stuff.

Anyway, he's funny and together we are an unstoppable train. No, make that an unstoppable herd of flesh hungry babies. I don't know. We're funny.

Currently we are re-writing what I wrote over a year ago, along with a few new episodes.
